The Bees Are Telling Us Something. Are We Listening?

The Bees Are Telling Us Something. Are We Listening?

Are we listening? Yes. That’s the whole reason 4RBEES exists.

The bees have been telling us something for a long time. For more than 20 years, the world has been talking about their struggles. We’ve seen the headlines, heard the warnings, and watched one awareness campaign after another remind us how much bees matter.

And they do matter. So much. But how much awareness do we need before more people have a clear way to help?

Maybe you’re one of those people. You have a big heart. You understand that bees help keep our food growing and our world blooming. You want to do something useful, but somewhere between caring and taking action, you get stuck.

What can I actually do?

That’s the question we want to help you answer.

It started with a beehive.

When founder Brent Knudsen learned about the challenges facing bees, he wondered what would happen if a PureWave® Cell were placed inside a hive. There was a way to find out: test it.

That curiosity set something much bigger in motion. Encouraging observations in the field inspired the development of 4RBEES and gave us a reason to keep investigating. Independent research followed.

What began with a question about bees grew into a mission to support the people caring for them and help create a healthier future for the planet we all share.

And the bees gave us reasons to keep going.

The Bee Study by Dr. Magda Havas reported encouraging results in colonies using PureWave® Cells:

  • Better survival through winter
  • Stronger colony populations in spring
  • Improved hygienic behavior
  • Fewer queen replacements
  • Greater activity and calmer bee behavior
  • Even more honey

There is published, peer-reviewed field research behind this work, and the investigation continues. Participating beekeepers keep documenting what happens in their hives across different climates, seasons, and beekeeping practices.

We’re putting Cells into hives, supporting beekeepers, gathering observations, and continuing to learn. That’s what listening looks like when you put it to work.

Big heart? There’s a place for you here.

You don’t need a hive in your backyard or a beekeeper suit hanging in your closet to be part of this.

When you purchase a PureWave® Cell, a portion helps fund the 4RBEES Beekeeper Program. That support provides Cells to qualified beekeepers at no cost and can also include nucs, bee packages, queen replacements, and organic wildflower seed.

You can experience PureWave® in your own environment while helping make that work possible in theirs.

Prefer something sweet? PureWave® Honey supports the mission, too. So does a purchase from the 4RBEES merchandise collection. Your everyday choices can have a little more purpose behind them.

If you keep bees, explore the Beekeeper Program. If you love sharing something you believe in, become a Brand Ambassador. And if you have a podcast, publication, event, or another platform, Voices4RBEES offers a way to bring this mission to more people.

You can also make a donation or join the 1,000 Bees a Month Club. A $20 monthly contribution helps provide more Cells to beekeepers and supports the wider mission.

There are different ways to take part because there are different kinds of people who care. Find the one that fits you.

The bees live here, too.

Pesticides, habitat loss, parasites, disease, limited food diversity, pollution, and extreme weather can pile up around a colony. It’s a lot for a little bee to carry.

Helping bees thrive means paying attention to that buildup of environmental stress and looking for practical ways to support them.

It also means remembering that we share their world. The landscapes around the hives are connected to our gardens, our communities, and the places our families call home.

When the bees give us a reason to look more closely at our environment, we can take that invitation seriously. What are we adding to it? What are we taking away? What can we do to care for it better?

Our mission starts with bees and reaches toward something bigger: healthier ecosystems and a healthier planet for all of us.

That’s a BIG mission. There’s room for a lot of BIG hearts in it.

So, are we listening? We are. And if you’ve been wondering how to turn your concern for the bees into something meaningful, there’s a place for you here.

Come see what we’re building. Find your way to be part of it.
